    Alison Lane

    Alison Lane, Director of Racquets at Collier's Reserve, is a graduate of Dartmouth College where she was a 4-year starter on the Women’s Lacrosse Team.

    Alison’s love of teaching tennis has taken her career all over the world from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to Australia and the Ukraine.  She is a graduate of the Peter Burwash International (PBI) program that teaches tennis professionals the importance of customer service, planning tennis programs and clinics, and the overall business of running a tennis / racquets operations.  PBI has managed the tennis operations at many of the top hotels, resorts and clubs around the world.  Alison came highly regarded as “one of the best female tennis players in SW Florida” by the notable Directors of Tennis in the area.  Prior to her move to Naples, Alison helped to develop a comprehensive tennis program from the ground up at Dorado Beach Resort and Club in Puerto Rico.  Over her three year tenure, she coordinated junior programs, performance programs, daily clinics, men’s and women’s leagues and lessons.  She currently plays on the Fort Myers pro-league team and is ecstatic to become our new Director of Racquets. 
     
    Alison’s interests include travel, painting, sculpture and all sport related activities.  She and her husband, Adam, who is a tennis professional at Bonita Bay Club, live in the area with their daughter Kayden, 6 and their son Wyatt, 4.

    Sara Ruganis

    Director of Fitness, Sara Ruganis, joined Collier’s Reserve Country Club in 2016. She continuously evolves the Sports Center's Health and Fitness programs to offer members the best workouts and health education in an exciting, supportive environment. She earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is certified as a personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 Fitness Professional, a group fitness instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and a Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) certified provider through RockTape. Sara also has certifications in TRX suspension training, indoor cycling from Johnny G, Power Plate, Foam Rolling, and Sports Nutrition.

    As an avid fitness enthusiast, Sara is inspired by the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with members to achieve optimum health. As the Sports Centers Director of Fitness, Sara is dedicated to developing programs that match the diverse needs of the community, interacting with members to gauge those evolving needs and ensure a positive, supportive fitness experience. In her leisure time, Sara loves to spend time with her two children and enjoys getting outdoors to capitalize on the activities available in Southwest Florida as well as hitting the gym for her own weight training.

    Sara recognizes health as each person's most important asset. She believes life's challenges and demands are better managed by leading a balanced lifestyle. Sara encourages you to approach fitness with an open mind, ready to face new challenges.
