    Director of Membership and Marketing, Ellie McKay, joined Collier’s Reserve Country Club in 2017. She received a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and following college, she was the Sales Development Manager at the Lincoln Convention & Visitors Bureau. In 2013, Ellie relocated to Southwest Florida and was the Membership Development Manager at the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce. Ellie and her husband live in Estero and enjoy the year-round beautiful weather with their two sons and daughter.

    Dottie has an impressive twenty years of club management experience. Starting at Collier's Reserve in 1993, Dottie served as our Director of Member Services for four years before moving to Kensington Golf & Country Club where she served as the Membership Director. Dottie returned to Collier's Reserve in 2005 where she is an integral part of our management and member services team.

    Director Of Golf, Ben Tilley originates from Burton-on-Trent, England, and moved to the United States in August 2002 to take a golf and soccer scholarship at Martin Methodist College in Tennessee. After graduating, he continued to coach soccer and play more golf.

    In 2008, Ben began working at GlenRiddle Golf Club in Ocean City, Maryland, where he became 1st Assistant Golf Professional and joined the PGA of America. In 2014, he moved to South Florida to take the Assistant Golf Professional position at Island Country Club on Marco Island. He soon became the Head Golf Professional, and after 7 years at ICC, he left to start his new position as Director of Golf here at Collier’s Reserve Country Club.

    Ben is staff member for Callaway Golf and recently joined the team at Lyle & Scott as a global brand ambassador. Ben has now lived in Naples since 2014 with his family, Wife Olya and his 2 children Ivan and Stella.

    Head Golf Professional, Mike Phelan, has been a member of the Collier’s Reserve Team since 2007. Prior to joining Collier’s Reserve, Mike was the 1st Assistant Professional at Naples National Golf Club for 5 years, 1st Assistant Professional at Eagle Creek Country Club for 4 years, and an Assistant Professional at Wyndemere Country Club for 6 years. Mike began his career as a Golf Professional in 1988 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, while also spending two winters in Rancho Mirage, California at the Club at Morningside, moving to Naples in the fall of 1992. Mike is a native of Massachusetts and lives in Naples with his wife Sue and their son Connor.

    Patsy Doss is a lifelong resident of Naples. She has been a merchandiser/buyer in Southwest Florida for over 30 years and has been Collier’s Reserve’s Merchandise Manager since 2012. Patsy is one of the inaugural members of the AGM (Association of Golf Merchandisers) and was also selected as the Private Country Club Merchandiser of the Year by the PGA in 2011. Her merchandise displays have been highlighted in trade publications and calendars. Patsy has been a guest speaker several times at FGCU as part of their Professional Golf Management program and was a featured guest speaker at the 2017 PGA Show in Orlando.

    Alison Lane, Director of Racquets at Collier's Reserve, is a graduate of Dartmouth College where she was a 4-year starter on the Women’s Lacrosse Team.

    Alison’s love of teaching tennis has taken her career all over the world from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to Australia and the Ukraine. She is a graduate of the Peter Burwash International (PBI) program that teaches tennis professionals the importance of customer service, planning tennis programs and clinics, and the overall business of running a tennis / racquets operations. PBI has managed the tennis operations at many of the top hotels, resorts and clubs around the world. Alison came highly regarded as “one of the best female tennis players in SW Florida” by the notable Directors of Tennis in the area. Prior to her move to Naples, Alison helped to develop a comprehensive tennis program from the ground up at Dorado Beach Resort and Club in Puerto Rico. Over her three year tenure, she coordinated junior programs, performance programs, daily clinics, men’s and women’s leagues and lessons.
     
    Alison’s interests include travel, painting, sculpture and all sport related activities. She and her husband, Adam, who is a tennis professional at Bonita Bay Club, live in the area with their daughter Kayden and their son Wyatt.

    Director of Fitness, Sara Ruganis, joined Collier’s Reserve Country Club in 2016. She continuously evolves the Sports Center's Health and Fitness programs to offer members the best workouts and health education in an exciting, supportive environment. She earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. She is certified as a personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 Fitness Professional, a group fitness instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and a Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) certified provider through RockTape. Sara also has certifications in TRX suspension training, indoor cycling from Johnny G, Power Plate, Foam Rolling, and Sports Nutrition.

    As an avid fitness enthusiast, Sara is inspired by the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience with members to achieve optimum health. As the Sports Centers Director of Fitness, Sara is dedicated to developing programs that match the diverse needs of the community, interacting with members to gauge those evolving needs and ensure a positive, supportive fitness experience. In her leisure time, Sara loves to spend time with her two children and enjoys getting outdoors to capitalize on the activities available in Southwest Florida as well as hitting the gym for her own weight training.

    Sara recognizes health as each person's most important asset. She believes life's challenges and demands are better managed by leading a balanced lifestyle. Sara encourages you to approach fitness with an open mind, ready to face new challenges.

    Chef Brian Lord joined Collier’s Reserve Country Club, as Executive Chef, in November of 2011. Since 2016, he has held the position of Executive Chef & Director of Food & Beverage at CRCC. Previously, he held the position of Executive Chef & Director of Culinary Operations at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA and The Summit Club in Birmingham, AL. Brian has also held positions at numerous Platinum Clubs on the East Coast. He is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. In 2017, Chef Brian was honored as Chef of the Year by the ACF Southwest Florida Chapter. Brian has had the honor of hosting all styles of events ranging from charity fundraisers to cooking for President George W. Bush. As an American Culinary Federation Certified Executive Chef with a Level 1 Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Brian continually focuses on not only furthering his own education in both food and wine, but is also deeply committed to the training and advancement of the young culinarians on his team.

    Ken received a Turfgrass Management Degree from Ohio State University in 2007.  Ken relocated to become an Assistant Superintendent at The Ritz-Carlton Members Club in Sarasota, FL, then joined Collier’s Reserve as Assistant Superintendent in 2009.  In September 2016, Ken became the Golf Course Superintendent at Grey Oaks Country Club’s Estuary Course.  Ken oversaw the entire operation of the 120-acre course with TifEagle Greens, Bermudagrass fairways and Paspalum practice range tees.  Ken’s returned to Collier’s Reserve in 2017 with a wealth of knowledge about our golf course, irrigation system and long-term master plan.  Ken, his wife Sam, and his son and daughter live in Estero and enjoy sports and fitness.
